Once the vehicle is returned in good condition the hold is released automatically, and how long it takes to disappear from your statement depends on your bank: it can take up to 10 business days.

With no payment: the pre-booking locks the price of your quote. If the rate for that date goes up, your amount still stands. The model stays subject to availability until you start paying.

With 25% (a quarter of the total): you enter the 1+3 — the first payment now and three equal installments, interest free, with the last one up to 72h before pickup. Complete the 1+3 within that window and the car is yours: model guaranteed, not just the price.

Yes — and dollars usually comes out cheaper, because there's no interest and no exchange spread. The booking amount is locked in dollars and doesn't change. What can come on top: on the card link the checkout adds the processor's transaction fee (around 4.2%), and your bank may charge a foreign transaction fee, which varies by country — neither of those stays with AZ. You can split it into up to 4 payments interest free: a first payment and 3 equal installments, as long as the last one falls up to 72 hours before pickup. Your booking is charged in dollars — that amount is in the contract and doesn't change. If you pay in another currency, costs that aren't ours come in: the exchange rate of the day, your country's taxes on international purchases, the fee charged by the platform doing the conversion and, if you split the payment, the interest. AZ receives the same amount in dollars on every payment method — the difference between them doesn't stay with us. And note: the rate is locked at the exact moment of payment, not when we generate the link. That's why paying in dollars removes the swing for good.

Every rental already comes with AZ GO, which covers collision and theft regardless of fault, with a deductible of up to US$ 3,000 — you pay the value of the damage and that at most. Tires and windshield are not covered. You can bring it down: the AZ ENJOY (US$ 18 a day) drops the deductible to US$ 1,000 and covers glass; the AZ PEACE OF MIND (US$ 27 a day) removes it entirely and covers tires and windshield. The deposit is a separate thing: a US$ 500 pre-authorization on the driver's credit card, which is a hold and not a charge, released after the return.

The protection is voided if the car is used outside the law or against the contract: driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances, letting someone who isn't on the contract drive, giving false information at registration, not reporting an accident immediately or not filing the police report. In those cases the liability becomes full, with no deductible cap.

Three things prevent 90% of the problems at pickup. The US$ 500 deposit only works with a CREDIT card in the driver's name — debit doesn't work, not Visa and not international Mastercard. It's a hold, not a charge: the amount is reserved within your limit and released after the return. You'll need your driver's license, passport and that credit card. On pickup day there's no line and no waiting: we leave the car parked at the airport 1h before you arrive and send you the photo of the spot on WhatsApp, with the level and the number.

Same rule as gas: return it at the same level you received it. Picked it up at 80%? Return it at 80% — you don't have to bring it back full. The car logs the levels automatically, so there's no argument. If it comes back below, we apply a single US$ 49 recharge fee, which covers the full charge and the trip to the charger.

Range on a full charge: Electric Sedan (Tesla Model 3 or Polestar), about 270 to 360 miles; Electric SUV (Tesla Model Y or Mach-E), 250 to 320 miles; Cybertruck, 320 to 350 miles. It varies by version — and with A/C and highway driving, count on about 20% less. Orlando to Miami is about 235 miles, with Superchargers all along the Turnpike.

Supercharger sessions during the rental are logged by Tesla after the return and charged to the card on file at 2x the value of the sessions. The contract doesn't allow taking the car out of Florida, and there's a fee of US$ 500 (out-of-state fee) if that happens — on top of being prohibited use under the contract, which can void the protection. Within Florida the mileage is unlimited. If your itinerary crosses into another state, talk to us before booking.
